Complete and submit the following items along with the online application. Your references may submit their letters to the Office of AmeriCorps via email to americorps@springfield.edu or mail to 263 Alden St., Stitzer Welcome Center, 4th Floor, Springfield, MA, 01109-3797.
Applications are currently being accepted. However, slots are filling up! We must interview you and process paperwork before training begins in mid-August.
All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and will be considered until the corps is full.
We hope to learn how you'll contribute to AmeriCorps, as well as your qualities, skills, and goals that make you an ideal candidate for the AmeriCorps program through your application, letters of recommendation, and resume.
Applications are placed in review as they are completed, provided space is still available. Once the applications have been reviewed, the program staff will initiate the interview process with the best candidates. Unfortunately, not all applicants will receive an interview. Once the interview process is complete, the program staff will select the best candidates for membership.
AmeriCorps positions are contingent on continued funding from the Massachusetts Service Alliance and Americorps.
Positions are open to the community, not just Springfield College students. We do have a strong partnership with Springfield College academic programs and try our best to place members in roles that fit their academic interests.
The process to approve applicants into the program is dependent on the renewal of grant funding.
Springfield College does not discriminate in admissions or employment policies and practices on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, age, color, religion, national origin, disability or status as a veteran.
