Nina’s clinical social work career began in community mental health (Revere and Holyoke, Mass.) They then spent 21 years with the Center for Women & Community (CWC) at the University of Massachusetts as the teen crisis intervention specialist and then the clinical director. In 2019, they left CWC to open their own clinical supervision and consultation practice while simultaneously nurturing their continued love of working with young adults through the Springfield College Counseling Center and Williams College. Nina has taught Social Diversity in Education at the College of Education at UMass and Queer Identity Development at the Smith College School for Social Work. Recognizing the impact of social oppression, Nina’s particularly interested in how we each understand our own emotional health within the context of our intersecting social identities.
